Lance Otis is the Admissions and Quality Improvement Director at Aspire Recovery Centers. With over seven years of experience in behavioral health, substance use recovery services, and recovery-oriented programming, Lance brings a systems-focused and person-centered approach to supporting individuals on their recovery journey.
His professional background includes behavioral health operations, admissions management, peer recovery support services, revenue cycle management, and quality improvement initiatives across PHP, IOP, and recovery support settings. Lance is passionate about improving access to care, strengthening operational systems, and creating supportive environments that promote long-term recovery and stability.
Lance holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is currently pursuing his Master of Social Work (MSW) while continuing advanced studies in cybersecurity policy and data analytics. He is also a Registered Peer Recovery Specialist (RPRS) and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor-Supervisee (CSAC-Supervisee).
Drawing from both professional and lived recovery experience, Lance believes in meeting people where they are with compassion, dignity, and grace. He is deeply passionate about helping individuals rediscover hope, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with purpose in their lives. He values authentic human connection and believes some of the most meaningful moments in recovery come from feeling genuinely seen, heard, and supported without judgment.
Outside of his professional work, Lance enjoys personal growth, community engagement, leadership development, and exploring ways to improve systems of care within behavioral health and recovery services. He is passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe enough to grow, challenge themselves, and begin new chapters in their lives.
